Tornado WATCH in effect for Crawford, Grant & Richland County thru 8PM today.

A potent spring storm will bring a variety of hazards to the region today through early Saturday. 

We ask that people remain weather aware, especially across parts of northeast Iowa and southwest Wisconsin this afternoon - evening when the threat of severe thunderstorms is highest. These storms will be capable of producing damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes.

Rain will transition to heavy snow tonight with accumulations likely, especially near and north of I-90. Travel may become difficult within the heaviest snow band as northerly winds gust 35 to 45 mph.
