The next phase of the Broad Avenue road improvements will commence on or about Monday, April 3rd (weather dependent.) This project runs from Highwood Avenue to Oakdene Avenue and will include the replacement of select sidewalk/curb/ADA ramps as well as milling and paving of Broad Avenue with all concrete work performed first. Construction work hours are Monday through Friday from 8am-6pm. Some on-street parking will be prohibited while work is in progress. Please proceed with caution while traveling through the work zone.

Note: The Borough Shade Tree Commission worked with the Borough Engineer and contractor on saving as many trees as possible for this road project; only 4 trees out of 44 were identified as trees to be removed. We are very proud of the Shade Tree Commission's continued efforts to save Leonia's canopy.
