National Weather Service has issued a severe storm watch for Picakaway County until Saturday afternoon. Reports indicate storms will arrive in the area after midnight along with high winds. A weather watch indicates the potential for severe or damaging weather conditions. There is a possibility of tornados developing in the I-75 corridor.
