Murder Suspect Captured By SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Elite Fugitive Squad. 
Yesterday March 30, 2023, around 1pm at a Shell gas station on Flint River Rd a young male was shot and killed after a robbery gone bad.
The store surveillance cameras showed two suspects driving together into the gas station. One suspect starts to fight with a male victim for a gun as they exit the store. That suspect shot at the victim as the victim tried to flee, along with the other suspect who also shot at the victim. Both suspects fled the scene in the vehicle.
After Clayton County Police identified the suspect that entered the store as Chris Julius Ervin, SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN activated his Elite Fugitive squad to find Mr. Ervin, and bring him to justice. Within a few hours of the warrant being issued for Ervin’s arrest, the Fugitive Squad captured Ervin and took him into custody.
Clayton County Police is actively investigating to identify the other murder suspect who is still at large.
