Tornado Warning until 10:00PM Friday

The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for... Southeastern Hardeman County in west Tennessee... McNairy County in west Tennessee... Northwestern Hardin County in west Tennessee... Central Chester County in west Tennessee...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 914 PM CDT, a large and extremely dangerous tornado was located near Pocahontas, or 8 miles northwest of Big Hill Pond State Park, moving east at 50 mph. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW! HAZARD...Damaging tornado. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Savannah, Selmer, Adamsville, Masseyville, Morris Chapel, Robertson, McNairy, Crump, Bethel Springs, Middleton, Eastview, Hornsby, Finger, Stantonville, Milledgeville, Enville, Forty Forks, Rose Creek, Good Hope and Pine Top.
