Possible strong winds and severe thunderstorms 
The NWS is expecting windy conditions to develop today (Saturday) along with two rounds of showers and thunderstorms across our area. Some of the storms could be severe with damaging winds as the primary threat, though there is a low risk for tornadoes too. This activity may lead to down trees and/or power outages. A Wind Advisory has been issued for portions of our forecast area.
*Hazardous Weather: Strong winds and severe thunderstorms
*Locations affected: Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the eastern shore of Maryland
*Timing: The first round of showers and storms will occur from around daybreak to around noon. The second round of showers and thunderstorms will occur from around 6 PM to 9 PM. The second evening round of thunderstorms is more likely to be severe.
*Impacts: Strong winds may result in downed trees and/or power outages.
*Confidence on occurrence: Confidence is moderate in the occurrence of showers and thunderstorms as well as windy conditions outside of the showers and storms, although confidence is lower on the coverage of severe thunderstorms.
