ComEd estimates approximately 3 more hours for Rt 25 between Ridge & Long Ave. Two hours for tree cutting & then another jour to complete repairs.

Rt 25 between Long Ave & Ridge Rd remains closed in both directions due to a tree and wires down. Please take an alternate route. Once ComEd removes the tree & wires, the road will open. All other roadways are open to traffic. According to ComEd, there are about 200 customers without power on North Aurora’s East side. ComEd says they expect to have 80% of customers restored by 3pm today with remaining outages restored by Sunday at 10am.
