Storm Update: Unauthorized Solicitors 
Message from Chief Rich Calabrese:
Cinnaminson OEM (Office of Emergency Management) is currently assessing the damage caused by last night's severe weather. We have received reports of independent contractors wearing high-visibility vests going door-to-door asking if you need their services i.e. tree or roof companies. If they don't have a Cinnaminson Township Solicitor Permit, they are not authorized to solicit in our township. Please be careful in contracting any company that solicits your business after a major storm. There are a lot of legitimate businesses that want to help and there are some that take advantage of your situation.
All solicitors must register with the Cinnaminson Township Police Department. Each authorized person will be issued a solicitor's permit with their photograph from the police department. If they don't have the Solicitor's Permit (example listed below), they are in violation of our township ordinance. https://ecode360.com/10009527
Registered solicitors will be provided the current list of residents on the No-Knock Registry. https://ecode360.com/36668557
All suspected violations of our township ordinance should be reported immediately to the our non-emergency number at 856-829-6666.
