* WHAT...Snow expected above 8500 feet. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches with locally higher amounts on the southwest facing slopes. Winds gusting as high as 80 mph.
* WHERE...Uncompahgre Plateau and Dallas Divide, Northwest San Juan Mountains and Southwest San Juan Mountains.
* WHEN...From 6 PM Monday to 9 PM MDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility, especially on ridge tops. Very strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.
