Message from the CInnaminson Township Office of Emergency Management. 
After the storm safety message:
If you are using a portable generator do not use it indoors, or in a breezeway or garage. It must be outside and far enough away to keep carbon monoxide from entering your home.
If using candles, make sure they are in a base that will not tip over, never unattended, away from the reach of children or pets, and away from combustibles such as curtains. Battery operated candles are preferred.
Do not use your oven to heat your home.
