INCIDENT: Willful Discharge of a Firearm with Gross Negligence
LOCATION: Rancho Road and Village Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Christopher BlancasJimenez, 22-Year-Old Male Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Saturday, April 1, 2023, at approximately 6:36 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to gunshots fired near Rancho Road and Village Drive in Victorville. Deputies determined the suspect, Christopher BlancasJimenez, was shooting on Majela Drive within 100 yards of homes and riders on off-highway vehicles.
A search of BlancasJimenez’ home resulted in the seizure of a shotgun, two handguns, additional magazines, and ammunition. BlancasJimenez was booked into custody at High Desert Detention Center. He posted the $30,000 bail and was released from custody.
