The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a Red Flag Warning for critical fire weather conditions, which is in effect from 11 AM to 10 PM CDT Tuesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* WINDS...West to Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph, with higher gusts.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...5 to 10 percent.
* FUELS...Critically dry.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop can spread rapidly. Any outdoor activity that could produce flames or sparks is discouraged.
* AFFECTED AREAS: STERLING ... COKE ... IRION ... TOM GREEN ... CROCKETT ... SCHLEICHER ... SUTTON ... SHACKELFORD ... TAYLOR
