Northwestern Kane County in northeastern Illinois... Southwestern McHenry County in northeastern Illinois... Southern Boone County in north central Illinois...

* Until 130 PM CDT.

* At 1237 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Davis Junction to 7 miles northeast of Hillcrest to near Rochelle, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... DeKalb, Lake in the Hills, Belvidere, Woodstock, Huntley, Sycamore, Marengo, Genoa, Pingree Grove, Hampshire, Cortland, Davis Junction, Kirkland, Kingston, Malta, Lily Lake, New Milford, Burlington, Union and Garden Prairie.
