City staff are currently working to restore power to many customers on the northwest end of town. Crews are reporting multiple substations without power due to high winds. Since this is a large-scale issue, mutual aid has been called in. Staff will do what they can to restore power until other crews are able to arrive. Staff are expecting repairs to take up to six hours. The outage is affecting multiple stoplights in town. Please use caution and remain vigilant if driving or walking in these areas.
