* WHERE...Portions of central Michigan, south central Michigan and southwest Michigan, including the following counties, in central Michigan, Gratiot and Montcalm. In south central Michigan, Calhoun, Clinton, Eaton, Ingham and Ionia. In southwest Michigan, Allegan, Barry, Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa and Van Buren.

* WHEN...Until 315 PM EDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 910 AM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Repeating thunderstorms are expected over Southwest Lower Michigan over the next few hours. Between 1.0 and 1.5 inches of rain has fallen in some areas this morning, with another 1.0 to 1.5 inches possible over the next several hours. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
