Incident Summary
On April 5, 2023, at 6:27 PM, Petaluma Police Officers responded to Lucky’s to a report of a robbery that had just occurred. The subject, later identified as Jasmine Inong (Lower Lake resident), was confronted by an employee who attempted to take the merchandise back from Inong. A struggle ensued and Inong ultimately assaulted the employee and fled the store with the merchandise. The employee followed Inong into the parking lot and observed her get into a vehicle. The vehicle sped away and a description was provided to the responding officers.
A short time later, an officer located the vehicle parked on the shoulder of northbound U.S. Highway 101 just north of the Lakeville Hwy onramp. Inong was inside the vehicle and taken into custody without incident.
Inong was charged with robbery and was later booked at the Sonoma County Jail.
