LOCATION: 1300 block of Geronimo Trail, Unincorporated Community of Flamingo Heights
SUSPECT(S): Sean Buckwald, 41-year-old male resident of Yucca Valley
Ranae Woodard, 42-year-old female resident of Indio
VICTIM(S): State of California
Confidential, male resident of White Water
Confidential, female resident of Laguna Niguel
SUMMARY: On April 5, 2023, detectives from the Morongo Basin Station served a search warrant in the 1300 block of Geronimo Trail, in the unincorporated community of Flamingo Heights. During the search warrant service, investigators discovered a butane honey oil (BHO) lab, processed marijuana, methamphetamine for sales, one loaded handgun, and a loaded short-barrel rifle. Additionally, detectives located and recovered a 2003 Toyota Camry reported stolen out of White Water, California and a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle reported stolen out of Laguna Niguel, California. Two suspects,Sean Buckwald and Ranae Woodard, were arrested and found to be convicted felons. Woodard is currently on active federal probation.
Buckwald was booked at the Morongo Basin for HS 11379.6(a), HS 11378, PC 29800(a)(1), PC 30305(a)(1), PC 496(d)(a) and is being held on $700,000.00 bail. Woodard was booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for HS 11378, PC 29800(a)(1), PC 30305(a)(1) and is being held on $150,000.00 bail.
