Full Notification

On Suday, April 9, 2023 at approximately 1203 hours, the Readington Township Police were dispatched to Pulaski Rd. for report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival the police observed  a small sedan ran off the road and split a light pole in half. The driver who was later identified as Joseph Reilly had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emananating from his breath. Reilly conducted  the officers field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest for DWI. Reilly was issued a summons for DWI, Reckless Driving and Careless Driving. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
