TODAY IS THE DAY!
 
May 1^st is less than 4 weeks away! That means you will soon be required to have your 2023 Parking Permits.
 
ALL parking permits are now available!
Town Hall Window Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm.
 
Residents are eligible for one (1) vehicle parking sticker at no cost when home association dues are paid. Additional vehicle stickers are available for purchase at $35 each (made payable to Town of Ogden Dunes).
 
Golf Cart permits are $35. A completed golf cart inspection form and Proof of insurance will be required for all golf carts.
Please remember that the rules for golf carts are the same as a regular vehicle. Only persons possessing a valid, state-issued motor vehicle operator's license may operate golf carts within the corporate limits of the town. ALSO, all riders must have a seat of their own. NO riders are permitted to sit on anyone lap while the cart is in motion.
 
Watercraft permits are $20. These permits are required if you plan to leave your watercraft on the beach and you will need to complete a Watercraft Information form. Payment for Golf Cart and Watercraft permits should also be made payable to the Town of Ogden Dunes.
 
Yes, the current state of the beach is much improved from previous years, however; we do suggest that you go down to the beach and verify that there will be a safe place for your watercraft before purchasing a permit. Please also be aware of National Park boundaries. We would not want anyone’s watercraft ticketed or impounded because they accidentally put it on National Park property.
 
Stop into Town Hall between 8am and 3pm Monday to Friday to get your permits. Unable make it to our office during regular business hours? You have options! Please call us at 219-762-4125 and we will help you find the best option for your situation.
 
PLEASE NOTE: The restricted parking area has been expanded. In addition to the originally established areas, you now need a parking permit to park on Diana Rd from Sunset Trail to Valerie Rd/Ski Hill Rd. You also need a parking permit to park on Hillcrest Rd from Beach Lane to Ogden Rd. If you are a resident living within this expanded area, you now need parking permits to park on the street in front of your home.
 
Dog tags are also available for $5 per dog and required by ordinance for any dog kept within the limits of the town.
 
Just a reminder, Dogs will not be allowed on the beach after Thursday, May 25^th.
We understand that dogs love the beach just as much as humans, however; not all dogs do well in crowds and not all dog owners are responsible enough to pick up after or properly monitor the activities of their furry friends. Dogs will be able return to the beach on Tuesday, September 5^th
