* WHAT...Flooding caused by snowmelt is occurring.

* WHERE...The town of Dolores.

* WHEN...Until noon MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Snowmelt causing minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, including over roadways. Ponding of water in the town of Dolores is occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 855 AM MDT, emergency management reported flooding in Downtown Dolores. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Dolores. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* AFFECTED AREAS: MONTEZUMA, CO

Instructions:

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads. In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded roads. Find an alternate route.
