Soroptimist International of Simi Valley and New Beginnings Church are teaming up to raise awareness about fentanyl in our community.
This free event will take place on April 27th at New Beginnings Church located at 2864 Sycamore Street and starts at 6:00pm.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about local resources and hear from expert panel members consisting of: Ventura County Supervisor Janice Parvin, District Attorney Erik Nasarenko, Ventura County Chief Medical Examiner Christopher Young MD, Mayor Fred Thomas, Chief of Police Steve Shorts, Chief of Staff at Adventist Health Simi Valley Dr. Ira Tilles, Assistant Superintendent of Support Services Sean Goldman, Not One More President Pat Montoya, and Psychologist Dr. George Cave.
