* WHERE...Portions of north central Nevada and northeast Nevada, including the following counties, in north central Nevada, Eureka. In northeast Nevada, Elko.
* WHEN...Until 200 PM PDT Tuesday Apr 18.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is or occurring. SR-278 was destroyed due to flood waters and is closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 212 PM PDT, rapid snowmelt is causing flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... SR-278, Pine Valley, and Palisade. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Do not bypass road closures or barriers as SR-278 is destroyed due to flooding.
