SVPD Officers were investigating at Theft at Rite-Aid on E. Los Angeles Ave and Yosemite Ave. A different Officer was patrolling the Rite Aid at First St. and E. Los Angeles Ave. for the possibility of another theft.  The Officer observed the theft lights activate at the front doors and two suspects matching the description from the Yosemite Rite-Aid exit the store with merchandise. The Officer immediately detained 32-year-old Los Angeles resident James Freeman at the scene. The female suspect 36-year-old Los Angeles resident Nadeania Warner ran from the location and attempted to hide in the laundry mat in the same parking lot. Officers located/detained her within a couple of minutes of her attempting to flee. A search of their person and vehicle revealed approximately $1500.00 worth of stolen merchandise from both Simi Valley Rite-Aids. Both suspects were booked at VCMJ for 490.4 PC and 182 PC.
