The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Thursday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AREA AND TIMING...Middle Rio Grande Valley (Zone 106), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), Central Highlands (Zone 125), and West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109) from midday Thursday through Thursday evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to around 40 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Ranging from near 7 to 15 percent.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY ... WEST CENTRAL BASIN AND RANGE ... SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS ... CENTRAL HIGHLANDS
