Fire Weather Watch until 08:00PM Friday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon to 8 PM MDT Thursday. A Fire Weather Watch has also been issued. This Fire Weather Watch is in effect from Friday afternoon through Friday evening.

* AREA AND TIMING...This includes the East Central Plains (Zone 126) from midday Thursday through Thursday evening and again from midday Friday through Friday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts to around 35 mph on Thursday. West 20 to 25 mph with gusts near 35 mph on Friday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Ranging from near 7 to 10 percent Thursday and 10 to 15 percent Friday.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
