City of Sonora and Keep Sonora Beautiful Spring Clean-Up 
The City of Sonora is allowing city customers to discard items otherwise difficult to dispose of in regular service. In order to take advantage of the clean-up, we are asking that you present a city utility bill. Call City Hall at 325 387-2558 if you are needing access to the old landfill where the large "Roll Off" containers are located.
Volunteers with trucks and trailers will be available Saturday and Sunday to assist with transporting items to our collection site. Please ask city employees about this service Saturday and Sunday.
Landfill Operation Hours:
Friday, April 14, 8:00 AM — 6:00 PM
Saturday, April 15, 8:00 AM — 6:00 PM
Sunday, April 16, 8:00 AM—12 :0 PM
All items will need to be taken to the City landfill. If you have any questions or need more information, call 325-384-2558.
Items that will not be accepted are:
Oil Filters
Roof Shingles, Oil Filters Petroleum Products and By-products, Explosive Materials, Medical Waste, Liquid Waste, Refrigerators, Microwave, Air Conditions, TV’s and Paint
