Full Notification

On 04/12/23 at approx. 1339 hours, Dispatch received a call from the CVS manager at 4440 Alamo Street, advising that 2 Hispanic females and 1 unknown male had just left their store and had been previously kicked out of another CVS for shoplifting. The suspects were seen leaving in a White Honda, with a license plate provided by the manager. At approx. 1358 hours, Dispatch received a call from the CVS at 591 Country Club Drive of a shoplifting in progress. The suspects matched the description from the previous CVS radio call. The suspects fled the location with stolen merchandise. A short time later, an Officer located the vehicle entering the E/B 118 Freeway at Madera Road. After a short failure to yield, the suspects yielded just west of the Stearns off ramp. Four suspects were taken into custody without incident. The four suspects are identified as Gabriela Melendez 24 years old of North Hills, Paoula Martinez-Luna 23 years old of North Hollywood, Sindy Medina 23 years old of Van Nuys and Ruben Cazares 22 years old of Panorama City. The four were booked at the Ventura Main Jail for Organized Retail Theft.
