In response to questions from the community, we want to share additional information about the Officer Involved Shooting (OIS) that occurred on April 13, 2023 in the 39000 block of Cedar Boulevard.
The carjacking suspect was in possession of a full metal airsoft pistol designed to look like a Beretta M9, which is pictured below.
