Full Notification

Borough officials have received notification from Jersey Central Power & Light (JCP&L) that residents can expect a power outage of under one hour between the hours of 7:00 am and 3:30 pm on Monday, April 17th.  This planned outage is necessary for JCP&L to safely make necessary repairs.  The plan is for the outage to occur at about 8:00 am but that is subject to change by JCP&L.  In the event of inclement weather, the outage and planned repairs will be rescheduled.  The Matawan Police Department & Office of Emergency Management will be monitoring the outage and will respond to assist with traffic control and other requests as warranted.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.
