Fire Weather Watch until 12:00AM Thursday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Fire Weather Watch...which is in effect from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. The Fire Weather Watch for Tuesday has been cancelled for the Middle Rio Grande Valley, Sandia and Manzano Mountains, and North Central Mountains.

* AREA AND TIMING...Middle Rio Grande Valley (Zone 106), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), and North Central Mountains (Zone 120) below significant snowpack from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Westerly 25 to 30 mph with gusts to 50 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 12 percent, except up to 20 percent above 8500 feet.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY ... NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS
