The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AREA AND TIMING...Middle Rio Grande Valley (Zone 106), Sandia and Manzano Mountains (Zone 124), and North Central Mountains (Zone 120) below significant snowpack from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...West 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 12 percent, except up to 25 percent above 8500 feet in the North Central Mountains.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLE RIO GRANDE VALLEY ... NORTH CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... SANDIA AND MANZANO MOUNTAINS
