Red Flag Warning until 10:00PM Wednesday

The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101), West Central Mountains (Zone 105), West Central Basin and Range (Zone 109), Upper Rio Grande and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone 121), Sangre de Cristo Mountains below significant snowpack (Zone 122), Northeast Highlands (Zone 123), Northeast Plains (Zone 104), Central Highlands (Zone 125) and East Central Plains (Zone 126) from noon today through 8 PM MDT this evening and from 10 AM to 10 PM MDT Wednesday.

* 20 FOOT WINDS...Southwest to west 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 45 mph today. West 25 to 35 mph with gusts to 55 mph Wednesday.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...6 to 12 percent, except up to 25 percent above 8500 feet each day in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST PLATEAU ... NORTHEAST PLAINS ... WEST CENTRAL MOUNTAINS ... WEST CENTRAL BASIN AND RANGE ... UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND LOWER CHAMA RIVER VALLEY ... SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS ... NORTHEAST HIGHLANDS ... CENTRAL HIGHLANDS ... EAST CENTRAL PLAINS
