Wanted Suspect Armed With Handgun Flees And Captured By SHERIFF LEVON ALLEN’S Elite Blackhawk Unit!
Yesterday, around 5:15pm, members of Sheriff Levon Allen’s elite Blackhawk were on patrol in Tara Woods's apartment when they spotted a wanted man, Dequavious Booker. Booker, who was wanted for reckless conduct, began to flee and deputies saw he was armed with a handgun.
Booker doubled back and went into an apartment where he was apprehended without incident. The handgun he had in his possession when checked came back stolen and Booker was charged with having a stolen weapon as well as fleeing from police.
Arnica Turner, who was in the apartment with Mr. Booker was arrested without incident for an outstanding warrant she had on her for disorderly conduct.
With one less handgun in our community, Booker and Turner are now our guests at the Clayton County jail.
