This is an emergency notification from the Lubbock Police Department regarding a(n) Road Closed. The incident details at this time are: LPD is conducting a mapping operation in the area of 34th Street and Research Boulevard. Traffic at the intersection will be blocked for the first 30 minutes. After that, officers will investigate west of Research Boulevard with limited traffic disruption. The LPD needs the public to avoid the area.
