IMPD Aggravated Detectives make arrest in shooting investigation

On April 18, 2023, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) Aggravated Assault detectives arrested 20-year-old Jermerrell Hubbard for his alleged involvement in a person shot investigation.
 
On January 7, 2023, at approximately 12:20 p.m., IMPD North District officers were dispatched to 3415 N. Grant Ave. on a report of a person shot. On scene, Officers arrived and located the victim, Mr. Asati Robinson with injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s). Mr. Robinson was transported to Eskenazi Hospital by IEMS. IMPD Aggravated Assault detectives responded to the scene and began their investigation.
 
Throughout this investigation IMPD Detective were able to identify Hubbard as a suspect in this incident. Hubbard was later located and taken into custody by IMPD Officers. Hubbard was arrested and charged with attempted murder for his alleged role in the shooting of Asati Robinson.
