Collingswood “Plan to Play” Recreation Master Plan

Join us for an interactive Community Open House! We need your input - be a part of the planning for future recreation programs and facilities in our town. This is the first of events and outreach activities we are conducting.

This event will be an interactive open-house format, so stop by any time! A brief project introduction will be made at 7:00 pm. 

The Borough is soliciting the public's input for the development of a comprehensive Community Recreation and Facilities Master Plan. The community-driven planning process will include identifying and analyzing existing programs through surveying, public outreach activities, and an analysis of current facilities, programs, and recreation trends - including best practices in similarly sized communities.

The goal is to work with the community and stakeholders to identify gaps in service or facilities and to develop a vision and plan for meeting current and future needs to serve residents of all ages and abilities in an equitable manner. Once completed, the plan and needs assessment will be used to help identify funding and guide the Borough Commission, School Board, stakeholders, and staff on programmatic needs and facility utilization and upgrades for recreational programs and facilities in town
