An Ashwaubenon woman suspected of pointing a handgun at another woman before and after allegedly firing a round into the air during a reported disturbance has been charged.
The Brown County District Attorney’s Office charged Tanisha Washington, 29, on April 19, 2023:
- Second-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- Disorderly Conduct
- Use of a Dangerous Weapon
- Obstructing an Officer
The incident occurred on April 17, 2023, just before 2:00 a.m. in the 2500 block of West Mason Street. Washington was said to have fled the scene in a pick-up truck. She was taken into custody by Green Bay Police on April 18, 2023, around 2:30 a.m. at a residence in the 2200 block of Newberry Avenue.
This investigation is ongoing. No further details will be released at this time.
