This morning the Pomona Police Department Major Crimes Task Force (MCTF) executed a multi-agency search warrant targeting illegal gambling casinos across several locations in the city including:
877 E. Phillips Blvd. Pomona, CA
1090 S. Garey Ave. Pomona, CA
1649 E. Mission Blvd. Suite B. Pomona, CA
1528 W. Mission Blvd. Pomona, CA
540 E. Foothill Blvd. Pomona, CA
570 W. Holt Ave. Pomona, CA
Inside the locations, an undisclosed amount of money and narcotics were recovered. Nine people were arrested and more than 55 gambling machines were removed from the six locations. The gambling machines were destroyed and disposed of by the City of Pomona Public Works Department.
