On April 16, 2023 at approximately 8:27 PM, a Hispanic male was riding a black colored bicycle on the south sidewalk of Fairway Dr when he reportedly got off his bike and groped an adult female pedestrian before attempting to assault her. The suspect then fled the scene.

The Department is asking for help in identifying anyone matching the description and reporting it to the Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety. You can contact Detective Ramirez at (707) 584-2600.  The suspect is described as an adult Hispanic or mixed-race male, short, heavy set, riding a black bicycle, wearing a black beanie, and black jacket.  All information will be considered confidential.

While the Department of Public Safety is actively investigating these incidents, we would like to remind you to be aware while walking alone after dark.  If you can, walk with someone. Only use one ear bud or headphone so you can hear things around you.  If you see any suspicious activity, please do not hesitate to call (707) 584-2600 or if an emergency 9-1-1.

Thank you for increasing public safety with us.
