The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a Red Flag Warning...which is in effect from noon today to 8 PM MDT this evening. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.
* AREA AND TIMING...Northwest Plateau (Zone 101), Upper Rio Grande and Lower Chama River Valley (Zone 121), Sangre de Cristo Mountains below significant snowpack (Zone 122) from noon today to 8 pm MDT this evening.
* 20 FOOT WINDS...West to northwest 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 45 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...Around 6 to 10 percent at lower elevations. Around 15 to 22 percent above 8500 feet in the Sangre de Cristo mountains.
* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
* AFFECTED AREAS: NORTHWEST PLATEAU ... UPPER RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND LOWER CHAMA RIVER VALLEY ... SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS
