NJDOT paving project beginning Monday April 24th at 8PM. North Avenue (Route 28) greatly affected. Plan accordingly. 
The NJDOT has informed the Township of Cranford that they will begin an overnight paving project tomorrow, April 24th, 2023. The hours of operations for this project are 8PM until 6AM.
We have been informed that variable message signs (VMS) will detour motorists during this project. Motorists who travel along North Avenue (Route 28) should expect delays. This project will involve multiple jurisdictions, including neighboring Garwood, NJ.
