Sexual Battery Investigation

On April 19, 2023, at about 7:40 P.M., the Gilroy Police Department responded to a sexual battery that occurred Mantelli Drive near Kern Avenue.
 
A female victim was walking on Mantelli Drive, when an unidentified male approached her from behind and inappropriately touched her buttocks.  The suspect ran into a nearby neighborhood and was not located. 

The suspect was described as an unknown race male, about 5’9”-5’10” tall, thin build, wearing a face mask, a black hoodie, and black pants.  
 
The Gilroy Police Department is actively investigating this incident and more details will be released if they become available.
