On Wednesday, April 19th the “Multidisciplinary Team”, which includes Detectives from the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office, enjoyed lunch at Lily’s Place in Marion in honor of April being Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. This team was organized to allow all local agencies devoted to ensuring the safety of children in our community to come together and review cases on a weekly basis. We are proud of our group of Detectives who are willing to fight for those who are unable to fight for themselves!
