Effective May 1, 2023, WASTE PRO will become the new solid waste collection provider for the City of High Springs. As part of this change, residents will note several changes to pick-up days. SOLID WASTE (TRASH) collection days are either Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday- depending on where in the city you live. See route map and address list attached to find out your service day. New cans delivered will also have a sticker placed on the lid to indicate your service day. YARD WASTE collection day is Wednesday, CITYWIDE RECYCLING collection day is Friday, CITYWIDE **Note: ALL RECYCLING (cans, bottles, cardboard, etc) go into the SAME blue bin with green lid. NO sorting is required!** New WASTE PRO carts will be delivered to residents between now and April 30th. You may use your new WASTE PRO carts beginning May 1st. Old WCA/GFL carts and recycle bins are scheduled to be picked up with your regular curbside garbage collection on April 28th. COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS: Waste Pro and GFL have started taking out GFL commercial frontload containers & delivering Waste Pro containers. GFL will service the Waste Pro containers up until April 28th.
