Full Notification

On 04/24/23 at approx. 0622 hours, a 41 year old Male Simi Valley resident was walking his dog at Lemon Park (3700 Avenida Simi). While walking his dog, he observed a male subject later identified as Suspect-Lee Suer (61 year old Simi Valley transient), smoking in the parking lot near the walking track. The Victim asked S-Suer to put his cigarette out. When he refused, the Victim asked him again to put it out or he would summon the Police. S-Suer stated, "I have something for you". S-Suer reached into his vehicle and pulled out a knife. He raised the knife over his head and started walking towards the Victim. The Victim fled and called 911. Officers responded to the scene and arrested S-Suer without incident. S-Suer was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for 417(a) (1) PC-(Brandishing).
