INCIDENT: Shooting at an Inhabited Dwelling
LOCATION:14000 Block of Cortez Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Nathaniel Aguirre-Miranda, a 23-year-old Male Resident of Victorville
VICTIM(S): Confidential, Multiple Adult and Juvenile Residents of Victorville
SUMMARY: On Sunday, April 9, 2023, at approximately 12:12 a.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to a shooting at a residence in the 14000 block of Cortez Drive in Victorville. Multiple victims were home when the suspect approached the residence with a rifle and fired multiple rounds into the home. The incident was captured on security cameras.
The Victorville Police Department’s Detective Bureau assumed the investigation. The suspect was known to the victim’s family and identified him as Nathaniel Aguirre-Miranda.
On April 13, 2023, detectives served a search warrant at Aguirre-Miranda’s residence. They seized multiple firearm parts and ammunition. Deputy Lee arrested and booked Aguirre-Miranda into custody for felony shooting at an inhabited dwelling. The victims did not sustain any injuries as a result of the shooting.
