This is a message from the Kern County Office of Emergency Services.
If you were affected by the recent storms and flooding disaster, please pay close attention to the following message.
The President has issued a declaration that authorizes assistance for Kern constituents who suffered damages due to the March 2023 storms and flood event. To provide direct assistance, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has activated two Disaster Recovery Centers in Kern County. Representatives from FEMA, State Agencies, the Small Business Administration, and Kern County Departments will be on site to provide information and application forms for government assistance programs and services.
The Center in Lake Isabella is located at The Lake Isabella Senior Center which is located at 6401 Lake Isabella Blvd in Lake Isabella. It is open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The Center in McFarland is located at the McFarland Recreation and Park District Gymnasium which is located at 100 Second Street in McFarland. It is open seven days a week from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
