Spring cleaning is upon us! The City of Lockport’s Spring Branch Pickup Program begins Monday, May 1.
To participate in this program, residents must place their branches at the edge of the parkway, cut ends facing the street, PRIOR to the start date. Crews will make one pass through the City, which can take up to two weeks to complete.
In addition to maintaining parkway trees year-round, the City is proud to offer this biannual service to allow residents to dispose of tree branches and brush from their private property.
Residents in need of branch disposal outside of the City’s Spring & Fall program dates must utilize Waste Management’s yard waste program. Leaving branches in a parkway or on other City property indefinitely will result in a Code Enforcement citation. Visit http://www.cityoflockport.net/303/Branch-Pick-Up for more information.
