On 4/26/2023, East County Investigations Unit concluded a lengthy investigation and arrested Brian Quinones, a resident of Moorpark, for burglary, identity theft, grand theft, and theft.
 
The investigation began in early March 2023, when a victim reported a theft of their property from a local gym locker room. The victim’s personal identifying information was later used where the victim encountered a financial loss. Subsequently, approximately six other victim’s reported similar circumstances that occurred in March and April 2023 at local gyms and businesses.  
 
During the course of the investigation of these incidents, detectives identified Brian Quinones as the suspect committing these crimes. A search warrant of Quinones’ person, residence and associated vehicles was executed. During the execution of the search warrant, numerous evidentiary items associating Quinones to the reported crimes were located.
 
Quinones was arrested for violation of Penal Codes 484(a)- Theft, 530.5(a)- Identity Theft, 459- Burglary and 487(a)- Grand Theft.
 
Quinones was booked at the Ventura County Main Jail for the above listed charges with a pending court date.  His bail was set at $150,000.00.
