Prescription Drug Takeback Results. 
On April 22, 2023, residents of the City of Simi Valley demonstrated their support for the DEA’s annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, by dropping off more than 340 pounds of unneeded medications at SVPD. Since 2010, DEA, along with nationwide law enforcement partners, have collected nearly 16 million pounds of unneeded prescription medications. Thank you, to everyone that supported this April 2023, event.
